July 24^th           Women’s Club Championship

This will be a one day event with a regular division along with a senior division.  The tournament will be flighted at the conclusion of 18 holes.  Tee times will begin at 8:00 a.m.

August 7^th         Sole Survivor

This will be two separate tournaments.  The men’s division will begin at 1:00 and the women’s division will begin at 2:00.   Qualifiers will be determined upon club championship results.

August 21^st       Husband/Wife Club Championship

This is open to all ICC club members.  The format for this event will  be a modified alternate shot.  This event will be flighted after 18 holes.  Tee times will begin at 8:00 a.m.

August 22^nd      Iowa Golf Association State Seniors Handicap Event

This event is sponsored by the Iowa Golf Association.  It is open to all members and non club members.  It is an 18 hole handicapped senior event.  Sign up must be done through the Iowa Golf Association.  GHIN handicap required for participation.

August 27^th      Ryder Cup Tournament - Indianola Country Club Vs. Deer Run

This is a (27) Ryder Cup Tournament against the Public Golf Course. The first nine was Best Shot. The second nine was Better Ball. The final nine was alternate shot. Each nine was worth 1 point for a win and a ½ point for a tie. There was a total of 18 points.

September 4^th and 5^th Labor Day Tournament

This will be a three person bestshot with an A, B, and C player.  There will be a men’s division and a women’s division.  This is a two day tournament in which both divisions play 18 holes each day.  It will be a shotgun event starting at 9:00 a.m.  GHIN handicap required for participation.

September 17^th            Men’s and Women’s Handicap Club Tournament

This will be an 18 hole individual event with both a men’s and women’s division.  Participants will be able to use their handicap in this event.  Tee times will begin at 8:00 a.m.  GHIN handicap required for participation.

September 25^th            State 4 – Man Best Shot

This event is open to all members and non club members.  It will be limited to the first 36 teams.  Players may form their own teams.  The tournament will be flighted after 18 holes.  It will be a 10:00 shotgun start.

The first half of the Conference Meet was held at Copper Creek in Des Moines.

October 2^nd      Ryder Cup

This will be a 27 hole event with the nines to be played best shot, best ball, and then alternate shot.  This event is open to club members only.  There will be a men’s division and a women’s division.  The tournament will be flighted after 27 holes.  Tee times will begin at 8:00 a.m.

October 8^th       Men’s Flag Tournament

This event is open to all members of the Men’s Golf Association.  The course remains open for regular play during this event.  GHIN handicap required for participation.
