Nominations Wanted
The Nominations Committee hopes to finalize nominations for President and the Board at the December Board meeting. If you are interested in running, let someone on the board know ASAP.

Country Club Bucks
Please try to use your country club bucks by the end of the year. With the fiscal year ending December 31st this would help us out with our accounting. If you have $$$ left, come on out with the family for lunch on a Saturday or treat your buddies to a drink. Thanks.

Winter Golf
Joe will keep the greens open as long as we have playable weather. We will go to winter clubhouse hours in December, but Jason will try to have someone in the clubhouse if good weather is likely to bring some golfers out. Once the greens close, you can still play to the temporary flags Joe will put in front of the greens. For more details Click Here.

Winter in the Clubhouse
I would like to let our new members know, and remind our "old" members that there is significant activity in the clubhouse even after the snow flies.
*Monday & Tuesday - Downstairs bar open 3:30pm-6:30pm. Stop in for happy hour after work.
*Wednesday - Ladies Day Stagette 3rd Wednesday each month.
*Thursday - Lunch 11:00am-2:00pm, Every Thursday night is men's night. Stop in for dinner, a few drinks, a game of cards or watching a ball game.
*Friday - Lunch 11:00am-2:00pm. There is also usually a good Friday evening crowd for happy hour. Stop by with your friends.
*Saturday - Lunch 11:00am-2:00pm. There is typically a good afternoon crowd playing cards or watching ball games. Come by and check it out.
*Closed Sundays in the winter
There are also some special events being planned. Check the monthly newsletters for details. If you have an idea for an event that you would like to see at the club, and would be willing to help plan for it, let Jason know and we will get it on the schedule if possible.

Endowment Fund Established
At the suggestion of some members, the Board has established the Indianola Country Club Endowment Fund. The first gifts have been given to this fund in the name of Kasey Kiplinger. The fund will be controlled by the Board of Trustees with only the income being used for club improvements. Gifts can be given for a restricted purpose such as course or clubhouse ($1,000 minimum) or be undesignated ($100 minimum). Memorial contributions can be combined into a single gift to reach the required minimums. Trustee Frank Colella will be the initial contact person for the fund. Contact Frank if you have any questions or would like to contribute to this fund

New Member Bounty $$$$$
As an incentive to help recruit new members, the Board has approved giving members $50 in country club bucks for each new member they recruit. Be sure that the Membership Application includes a short note indicating that they were recruited by you so you get the credit. The Membership Special is still in effect so if you know someone who is thinking of joining you can pick up information and an application in the clubhouse or call the club and have the information sent out. The special is: new members joining now pay no monthly dues until April 2005. They must pay the normal $500 initiation fee when joining. This may be paid over 4 months, which is the current policy. They must remain members and pay dues for at least 1 year (until April 2006).

Membership Changes
Welcome new members Bob & Sharon Sallee. We have received resignations from Randy & Beth Zimmerman, Rob & Bonnie Baldus, Gary & Vicki Bonnett, Martin Turner, Ray & Joanne Walton, and Dennis & Susan Judkins. Matt & Gay Laughlin have dropped their golf memberships and remain as social members. We now have 294 golf and 10 social memberships.
