Newsletter
Club Elections and Annual Meeting
Your ballot for the 2004 club elections
is enclosed in this newsletter. You may return it by mail or put it in the
ballot box at the club. It must be received by the start of the annual
meeting to be counted. The Annual Country Club Business Meeting will be
held on Sunday January 18th at 2:00pm in the clubhouse. Please plan to
attend. The results of the Country Club elections will be announced at the
meeting. Other information presented at the meeting will be reports from
all board committees, the annual financial report, a projected budget for
next year, and an update on the back nine project.
New Years Celebrations
The NEW YEARS EVE DANCE with the Good Time Oldies Band
starts at 8:30 pm. The cost for the dance is $15 per person. All of the
table seating has been sold, but tickets to the dance will still be
available at the door. The clubhouse will open at 12 noon on New Years Day
for those who like to watch the Bowl Games.
Sunday Brunch
Sunday Brunch this month is on Sunday January 11th from
9:30-11:30 am. The brunch now includes the made to order omelet bar, a
selection of fruit, juices, and pastries, as well as additional main dish
selections. Since the brunch includes your beverage, the cost of $8 per
person is a good deal. Come on out and give it a try. Guests are welcome.
For those of you who were a little cool at last months brunch due to the
heating problem, I guarantee it will be warmer. Replacing an $8
thermocouple got the heat going again. This is by reservation only, so
please call the clubhouse at 961-3303 to make your reservations.
New Nine Half-Way House
The back nine committee would like to put a small
half-way house with a bathroom and snack shack on the new nine. To finance
this without additional commercial borrowing they are seeking additional
member investor commitments to provide the funds. Remember that members
who loan the club $5,000 for up to 10 years receive a $20 per month
reduction in dues. If you would be willing to make a member investor
commitment for this purpose, contact Ken Birkenholtz(961-2693) or Werner
Kolln (961-4791). |
