This budget included an increase in all golf dues of $5 per month. A Family Membership is now $125/mo., Single $115/mo., and Single (under30)$110/mo.. The Cart Shed storage fee was increased to $220 per year. These increases take effect April 1, 2006 and will be reflected in your second quarter statements. You may register using the form below, or in the women’s locker room. If you want to be a substitute for league, please use the same form to sign up before May 1. Regular league play will begin June 7, 2006. On May 24 and 31 there will be pre-season scrambles for anyone that wants to get swinging. The length of the season will depend on how many teams we have. News from Jason Marvelli, PGA Pro & Club Manager

Beginning in the Spring of 2006 Indianola Country Club will have a full service pro shop. A very special thanks need to go out to members Brian Poindexter of Poindexter Flooring and Casey Blake. With Brian’s donation of flooring for the pro shop and Casey’s generous donation this project was able to transpire just as we were hoping it would. The renovation work was done by Steger Construction. Now members will be able to shop for such items as men’s and women’s golf apparel. Other items which we will see in the pro shop include logo sweatshirts, windbreakers, hats, bags, and more. Stock for the pro shop will be arriving between late March and early May. In the beginning we will not be stocking items such as shoes and clubs. Please be aware we DO have the capability to order these items which will only take a few business days to receive. We will do our best to beat any competitors’ prices. Please stop in this spring and check out everything your pro shop has to offer. Remember, special orders can always be placed for that item you need that we may not have!
Also new at the Club this spring are new windows in the ballroom upstairs. With the support of the ICC Women’s Association, ICC Men’s Association, funds from the Valentine’s Dance, and Indianola Country Club we where able to replace all eight windows in the ballroom and paint the walls. This improvement has made a considerable difference in the room’s appearance.

Spring Fling

The now annual Spring Fling is scheduled for Saturday April 29th. Look for details in next month's newsletter.

Course Opening

The course typically opens in early to mid March depending on the weather. The clubhouse will be open normal winter hours until the course opens. At that time the clubhouse will be open additional hours depending on the weather.

2006 Calendar

Work on the 2006 Club Calendar is currently nearing completion. If you know any needed changes in your address or phone number let Jason know.

Initiation Fee Still $250

The Board has approved keeping the reduced initiation fee of only $250 for this spring. Our best source of new members is you, the current members. This offer will not last forever. Let any friends and acquaintances who play golf know about this good deal. Remember that you will get $50 in clubhouse bucks for each new member you can recruit.
